The Mangalmay Institute of Management & Technology commenced its academic operations in the summer of 2002.
The vision and aspirations of the Mangalmay Foundation Trust fructified in the creation of a center of excellence enabled by its qualified faculty, state-of-the-Art Infrastructure and a fine breed of wanna be Managers, Teachers & Scientists.
Under the aegis of MIMT, The Institute runs the school of Management (MBA, BBA Programs), School of Biotechnology (M.Sc- Biotechnology, B.Sc-Biotechnology Programs) and School of Education (B.Ed, Program).
The On-Campus ethos is one of knowledge sharing, research, practical learnings and a spirit of enthusiasm.
The School of Management Studies through innovative pedagogy quizzes, assignments, role plays and simulations gives direction and shape to the endeavors of the Student Managers.
The Alumni of the Institute contribute in no small measure as Brand Ambassadors.
The School of Biotechnology through interactive lectures, research based course curriculum and illustrative pedagogy supplemented by modern and fully equipped laboratories allow the student space to nurture and develop as a first-rate Biotechnologist.
The School of Education through comprehensive and purposeful course-curriculum, lucid teaching methods and practice sessions grooms the student in the fire art of teaching.
Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities on campus are regular features and include cricket, volleyball, carom, chess and Athletics (Sports) as well as Singing-solo and group, Debates, Extempore and Fashion Shows (Extra-curricula Activities). The students are encouraged to participate in these activities to develop a holistic personality.
The Corporate perspective of the Programs, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Seminars, Personality Development Programs, Industrial visits, Live Projects and summer internship, as add on inputs to socialize the Student Manager.
