Job Description:

About the Company:  Asahi India Glass Ltd as being the largest glass company in India with a turnover of 2400 crore. AIS is transforming itself from being a manufacturer of world-class products to a “Solutions” provider.AIS has the following four operating business units: AIS Automotive Glass,  AIS Architectural Glass (Float and Glass Solutions) ,  AIS Consumer Glass (Auto Services - AIM, AIA & WE and Glass Xpert) & AIS Solar Glass. We have 5 major plants at the below mentioned locations:   Bawal, Taloja,   Roorkee,   Chennai & Gujarat and 12 assembly units across India.

A) Designation: Management Trainee - HR ( Talent Acquisition &  Operations)

Responsibilities:

  • Handling end-to-end recruitment cycle , sourcing and screening of candidates.
  • Joining formalities. Coordinating and conducting personal interviews at various levels & preparing formal salary offers, salary negotiation.
  • Ensuring closure of positions till on boarding of the candidate and taking care of joining formalities with respect to TA.
  • Release of Appointment letter & confirmation.
  • GETs confirmation and salary revision.
  • Organization announcement AOP/ MTP. 
  • To finalize the Training format, staff hiring format, manpower optimization with linking postplan circulation by MIS.
  • Consolidation, analysis and presentation in a summarized way IR & Compliance. 
  • Benchmarking of Blue Collar workmen and analysis with AIS and counter plan.
  • Legal Opinion and execution.
  • Study of latest amendment in the labor laws and recommendation as per law.

 

B ) Designation : Management Trainee – ET – Talent Management in HR Department

Responsibilities:

  • Finalizing The List Of Individuals (DH Level) Whom Skip Level Feedback Meetings Have To Be Conducted With Participant List.                  
  • Briefing About The Objectives ,Process, Role And Process Of Feedback Etc.       
  • Review Of Id And Competencies To Collect Feedback.             
  • Preparation Of Calendar And Communication Through The Sending Schedule With The Participants And The Reporting Manager With Required Documents (Finalized Skip Level Feedback Form)                 
  • Finalizing The List Of Individuals whom stay interviews need to be done                      
  • Briefing about the objectives, process, Role to department heads.             
  • Preparation Of Calendar and sharing with department head and the participants.                
  • Communication to individual through mail with clear contention objective, process & role of individual in stay interview , Conducting interview as per finalized plan & Review  of action plan.              

 

C) Designation:   Executive Trainee ( E&T ) Operations in HR Dept

Responsibilities:

  • To plan, organize and communicate for periodic reviews and meetings, and adhoc reviews and meetings.
  • Preparation of SMART action points and communication to all participants on the same day of meeting and review.
  • To keep track of all action points as per accountability and target dates and ensure necessary feedbacks.
  • To proactively keep track of survey reports, summarization for the purpose of benchmarking.
  • Benchmarking survey data vis-à-vis AIS data and practices, Identification of gaps, recommendation for AIS and presentation
  • Implementation of approved recommendations through proper planning, communication,  execution, corrective actions, and horizontal deployment
  • As per the checklist defined
  • To communicate all location to share their respective SCR & CLM reports as per specify process and  timelines, to collect all reports, study and summaries for information to COOs
  • To coordinate and communicate for periodic requests of compliances from locations and ensure closure
  • To coordinate and assist for fulfillment of HR compliances as per specific projects.

Interview Process:    Group Discussion -  English Language Test -  Aptitude Test -  Written Test  -  Psychometric test -  Personal Interview -(Each shall be an elimination round)
