The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.

All candidates seeking admission to MBA at MIMT will be required to appear either in CAT/ XAT/ MAT or UPSEE-2017. Candidates not appearing for any Management entrance exams will have to appear for MIMT’s entrance exam. Besides entrance exams, the candidates are required to register at MIMT, Greater Noida through a separate Application Form which will be available online along with Information prospectus from the website of the Institute or from the Admissions Desk, MIMT Greater Noida at the cost of RS 500. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT/ MAT score will be called for Group Discussion (GD), written test followed by a Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.

Results of the selected candidate shall be displayed on the Institute's Notice Board.

Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a two year degree program divided into four semesters and offering dual specialization. The first year is aimed at equipping students with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of management education covering 16 essential areas with 8 papers in each semester. At the end, of the first year, the students go for an industry internship with an organization of repute to hone their employability skills. The internship spans over a period of 6-8 weeks and is designed to provide a meaningful insight into the organizational working, to develop an understanding of business realities and practical application of theoretical knowledge. The students prepare a comprehensive Project Report detailing their work and are also required to appear for a comprehensive viva as per the university requirements.

A Post Internship profiling of each student is done based on their strengths, area of interest, command and aptitude.

The second year comprises of two semesters involving 4 core + 3 specialization papers in each semester. The focus is on holistic development in all semesters by imparting life changing and career defining executive communication, Personality Development, Live Projects/ Research Projects.

The students are also required to prepare a comprehensive Research Report on a problem/topic (from the areas of specialization) to be assigned by the department under the supervision of a core faculty member. The report should ordinarily be based on primary data. The institute also encourages students to go for short term live projects to develop their analytical and market research skills.

➢ The Corporate Partnership -Summer Internships:
After the completion of First year of the program, the institution provides students through its Placement Division services for Summer Internship .The institute also provides pre summer intern ship classes for preparatory ground work and helps the students by finding reputed companies to absorb students for 6-8 weeks of hands on training. The objective of the summer training is to help students relate the concepts learned in class with practice in real life situations. This brings more in- depth understanding in students with regard to all the learning of the concerned year.

➢ Case Studies:
Management students solve real life business problems through case studies to impart practical insights to the students. Case studies from different functional areas of management are deliberated in classrooms to hone their analytical and logical reasoning skills.

➢ Power point Presentations:
Every student is assigned topics for Power point presentations be presented within their respective groups. This gives them good practice for the real corporate world.

➢ Guest Lectures:
Eminent personalities from both industry and academia from India and abroad are invited form time to time to share their valuable experience with the students. This helps them to have a glimpse of the business world.

➢ Simulated Interviews:
Through simulated interviews, students can do their own qualitative analysis and get a better insight of their strengths and weaknesses. In a simulated interview, a virtual corporate environment is created and professionals from the industry are invited to judge the performance of the students. The entire process is audio-visually recorded so that students can later view their performance and improve upon their shortcomings.

➢ Industrial Visits and Market Research :
For providing continuous exposure to corporate dynamics, regular Industrial visit are organized as part of curriculum to expose students to finer points of business operations. The industrial visits also help to bring the young under graduates to the realm of business organization by first getting them the feel of operations and then building knowledge capacities that help as perfect aid in execution of class room knowledge.

➢ Industry Linked /Aided Projects :
The students have the option of undertaking live industry projects to be assigned by the department under the supervision of a core faculty member, by the end of the third semester. The project requires the student to submit project report based on mix of primary & secondary data. The projects help student hone their analytical skills and develop incisive understanding of the industry essentials of their functional areas of interest.

➢ Business Games and Other PDP Exercises:
The institute also organizes debates, simulation exercises, business games, role plays at regular intervals in each semester. The institute brings corporate trainers to groom students personalities as per the demands of the corporate world. This essential aid helps develop communication skills.
